Editorial and Verification Policy
How MusicRepairShops.com separates public directory data, owner-verified information, independent editorial work, and paid placement.
Last reviewed September 10, 2026
Publisher responsibility
MusicRepairShops.com is operated by Thalvaere OÜ. We are responsible for the directory structure, original guides, labelling standards, corrections process, and advertising disclosures. Workshops remain responsible for the accuracy of owner-supplied claims and their own services.
01
What we publish
MusicRepairShops.com combines structured musical instrument repair business records with original buyer guides and local comparison pages. Directory records help people discover and contact workshops. Editorial articles explain repair questions and are written separately from business listings.
02
Sources and verification
Names, locations, phone numbers, websites, and public rating signals may come from public business listings, workshop websites, owner submissions, and manual research. We do not republish scraped promotional descriptions on unclaimed profiles. Descriptions, service menus, specialties, brands, and pricing are displayed as verified profile content only after owner review.
03
What “Claimed” means
Claimed means the business owner or an authorized representative has confirmed control of the listing and reviewed its directory content. It is not a guarantee of workmanship, licensing, availability, pricing, or response time. Visitors should confirm those details directly with the workshop.
04
Ratings and directory signals
When a rating and review count appear, they are public third-party listing signals. They are not ratings created by our editors, and we do not convert them into an endorsement. Instrument and service classifications are navigation aids and may be incomplete until the owner verifies them.
05
City pages and profile standards
City counts and contact-availability statistics are calculated from the active records shown on that page. Thin records can contribute useful contact information to a city comparison, but they are kept out of the sitemap, marked noindex on their standalone route, kept ad-free, and no longer receive internal profile links. Only profiles that meet our enrichment standard are promoted as standalone reading destinations.
06
Advertising separation
Paid placement is labelled Promoted Listing or Enterprise Partner. Payment can affect placement and presentation, but it does not change public ratings, verification labels, editorial conclusions, or inclusion in independent guides. Sponsored outbound links are marked accordingly.
07
Corrections and review
We review requested corrections before publishing them and may ask for evidence when a change affects business identity or ownership. Owners can claim a profile, and anyone can report a duplicate, closure, wrong contact detail, or classification problem. Material editorial corrections are handled independently of advertising status.
Help us keep the directory accurate
Submit a correction, claim an existing profile, or contact us about an editorial or data concern. We review corrections regardless of whether a business advertises.
